Breaking in the Giant coil (or it's gonna break me! My arm will feel it tomorrow!)
Found plenty of deeper targets, several well over a foot deep in the sand.
Lots of clad and one nice ring with multiple makers Mark's on the inside of the ring. Thought it was going to be another coin, but was pleasantly surprised! Needs a good cleaning to make out the markings. Planned on some sand fishing with a headlamp, I had lots of battery power, but ran low on bug spray-the mosquitoes are fierce in the Midwest this summer with plenty of rain.
Now I just need to figure out a good sling system to save my arm and shoulder.
Any suggestions for an AT PRO with a 17"x15" coil? 20190714_205029.jpg20190714_205054.jpg20190714_205049.jpg20190714_205100.jpg20190714_231011.jpg20190714_230901.jpg

Nice Ring there. The BIG coils can wear ya down but worth the effort.

Looks like that could help save the shoulder, arm & back a bit for extended swing time.
What type detector & coil do you use the limb-saver with? AT Pro with a large coil?

You can get a hipstick, they are pretty good. Congrats on the ring

The Detecting Buddy is the sling I use on heavy detectors. Fit's them all as far as I know.

Good job just don't use it in trashy areas it'll sound like r2d2 on roids
